Urvashi says it’s easy to get motivated for work each day.
That’s because her role – working to deploy smart technologies at our manufacturing plants – makes things productive and insightful for our company.
“I get to use my education and experience to add value to our operations, knowing that the work will help things run more efficiently at the plants, be smoother for the user and overall more effective for the company.”
And yet, Urvashi says there are even more rewards for working at Stanley Black & Decker.
“This is a company where you have infinite opportunities to grow,” says Urvashi, who went to school for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and also has a master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
“My first manager at the company guided me, gave me creative freedom and taught me the intricacies of the business and supply chain,” Urvashi shares. “Leaders across functions have, over time, become my mentors or friends. At each step of the way, whether it be developing new processes or working with our Employee Resource Groups, I have been encouraged, coached and supported here.”
