Let’s Grow the Trades
With an estimated 500K trade jobs currently unfilled in the United States, the trade skills gap is an urgent challenge. We are providing $30 million in grants over five years to nonprofits to support vocational training and skilled trades programs in the construction industry. Together we can close the trade skills gap and help grow the trades.
The Trades Are in Demand
Right now, there is a high demand for skilled jobs and a shortage of skilled labor. To close this trade skill deficit, we need to better understand the barriers keeping people from the trades and the gap itself.
