By rethinking what’s possible for our packaging, we’re doing our part to ensure a cleaner future.
Packaging is easy to overlook. It’s what stands in the way between you and your latest purchase, quickly discarded and never considered again. However, traditional packaging carries a significant environmental impact. Much of the plastic found in product packaging is not recyclable and can end up in landfills, causing environmental impact.
As a leading manufacturer, we’re responsible for ensuring our products positively impact the world. We want to create a better environment for future generations. Introducing greater sustainability into the way we distribute our products represents a path to accomplishing this goal. To address this challenge, we’ve applied our innovative mindset to transforming our packaging — both in terms of design and materials.
In transforming our packaging, we’ve reduced the use of non-recyclable plastics. Instead, we’re employing recyclable alternatives like PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and paperboard whenever possible. By replacing these non-recyclable materials, we’re doing our part to reduce harmful plastic from ever reaching the landfill.
So far, the results speak for themselves. Since 2019, we’ve removed over 700,000 pounds of non-recyclable PVC from our packaging. To put that number in perspective, that’s the equivalent of approximately 30 million plastic water bottles. As we look to the future, we’re continuing our purpose of innovating for a cleaner, more sustainable world.
