Scott works to bring commercial transformation to our Global Emerging Markets organization, finding ways to help the company improve its profitability.
So what’s the key to Scott’s success? An eye for detail? Statistical analysis? Launching new strategies?
In a word: communication.
“The secret that avenues of communication between critical business functions are built and maintained,” according to Scott. “These bridges remove friction and allow for more effective decision making. I’ve seen it time and again – nothing beats good communication!”
Scott has worked in a variety of industries, including our Global Tools & Storage business, and has had roles in sales, marketing, eCommerce and commercial leadership. He’s also traveled around the globe, visiting more than 50 countries for work and for pleasure.
What he’s learned is the importance of good listening.
“You have to be open, listen and always be willing to learn and adjust to people. I think people of all backgrounds and stages of life have value to give, and I like to find that and connect to it.”
What does Scott like best about Stanley Black & Decker?
