Tamer Abuaita joined Stanley Black & Decker in January 2022 and is the Company’s Global Chief Supply Chain Officer and President of Industrial. As an accomplished leader with a history of delivering best-in-class results, Tamer leads 33,000+ employees around the globe. He is responsible for end-to-end supply chain excellence, leading the Company’s efforts in building the supply chain network of tomorrow while driving operations excellence today. In 2024, Tamer extended his strategic and action-based mindset to leading Stanley Black & Decker’s $2B global industrial business segment, which includes STANLEY Engineered Fastening (SEF), Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) and Industrial Services.
Over his three decades of experience, Tamer has led global transformations, expansions and post-acquisition integrations of supply chains and operations for multi-billion-dollar consumer goods organizations. Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Tamer held leadership roles with Nestle, Heinz, KraftHeinz and SC Johnson. He has broad global experience, holding positions in several countries and regions such as North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. His roles have spanned all elements of the supply chain, ranging from Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Strategy Development.
Tamer has a Master’s of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California.
A native of Tanta, Egypt, Tamer, his wife Barbara and their four children live in Delray Beach, Florida.
